Robin Joseph, lpc

Robin is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, a member of the American Counselors Association, a member of the Association of Play Therapy and Registered Play Therapist. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in 1993 from the Pennsylvania State University from the College of Health and Human Services with an emphasis on Children and Adolescent Development. She completed her Master’s Degree from Temple University in 1998 in Counseling Psychology.  After taking time off to start her own family, Robin continued her training through an intensive clinical training program in Structural Family and Marital Therapy from the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center. She, also, completed a two year training program in Mindfulness Based Play Family Therapy, and concurrently received training in Sandtray therapy from Family and Play Therapy Center in Philadelphia, PA.  Lastly, she has completed Levels 1,2 and 3 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy training.

Experience: Robin has 15+ years’ experience providing therapy services to children, adolescents and their families in their home, school and office setting including assessment, mobile therapy and behavioral specialist consultation. She has worked with children with a variety of mental health issues; including ADHD, abuse and neglect, foster care situations, autism and adjustment disorders. Robin works with couples to repair communication, reconnect and overcome infidelity.

Robin’s passion is to build stronger families through therapy from a holistic perspective encompassing the psychosocial and spiritual components.

Robin is married with two young adult children.  She enjoys spending time with her family.  She recharges by traveling and spending time at the beach.
